You've come a long way from washers in the cylinder.

Dechav please! haha, it would be rude to not have a jap can on a japanese engine! and the 2.5" link pipe and blox backbox is optimal for the setup i have! My mini used to look too soft, and girly! i wanted to do something to it to make it look more angry and powerfull! im not 100% happy with the grill, but it was the best i can do for the moment until i think of something! it will look better with the manifolds painted and an anodised wastegate. im wondering if i can cram an oil cooler on the left! boost is at 10psi, 250 bananas! +1 like :) obviously needs tidying but as you say its a project still (like mine :) ) anyway i have a suggestion for the turbo, get a blanket/heatwrap cover for it? do it neatly and it will hide the rusty pipework and make it all sparkly |

Could you space the grille out so that it covers a bit more of the turbo? On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:

How does it handle compared to the a-series? How is the torque steer with that much power? If the answer to both of these is positive you are gonna give me a serious dilemma! it handles great and goes in a straight line because of the equal length driveshafts, ive done alot of experimenting with the suspension to get it how i want it, it feels very balanced now. i still want the front wheels further forward but they are at the limits of the front allspeed rose jointed tie bars, ive allready cut about 1cm off each but i still need to cut them down more and thread them further. all the subframe is standard allspeed (well it was!) but i had to cut all the front bar off and side bars to fit in the full size radiator and the turbo and downpipe, it was impossible to use the standard allspeed front bar because thats where the turbo and downpipe wanted to be! if anyone wants or is interested in doing the same ill do a proper build diary to help you out i have loads of photos i like my chav exhaust, and it took alot of work making the boot floor flat and modifying the rear subframe to get it to fit into the rear valance so its staying
