Snow- anybody else having problems?

must be around 8inch's here, and still snowing steady.
Just dropped the mrs off at the station and her train's been delayed 40 mins,ok why cant a train just drive over snow? or fit the fronts with some kind of snow plow,

anyway, on the way back,coming down the other side of the road at the junction i see a fiesta spinning up like its at santa pod and a 3-series flowing suit, BANG, A white van come out of the blizzard a hits the bmw,which then sends the fiesta across the junction, nearly reaching the other side!!

i got out to check everyone was ok,apart from a couple of screaming kids and 3 dead cars everything was fine,waited for the police to show.......30 mins later,gave them a statment....turns out the van driver was drunk,or atleast failed the road test!

one less moron off the road atleast,
just makes you wonder....

We've got about a foot in Toy Town. At 6am yesterday morning the roads where covered in the majority of South Yorkshire. Wifey still made it safely to the centre of Sheffield and then back last night.

On her way in some prat in a large van decided to over take her as she was doing 15-20 mph. Unfortunately Mr Van driver over cooked it pulling back in and slid into the kerb getting himself stuck for his troubles. ha ha. BAC.

Made it to work every day, no problems and got this much snow:

Only had a dusting of snow this morning, had a couple of inches on tuesday but that's been the worst of it really.

As said, had over a foot here in south yorkshire, roads were bad yesterday morning, only about 10 people made it to work, luckily I use a push bike

Yeah im having problems... and there isnt even much snow about. Our roads an ice rink which isnt a problem however ive decided not to chance it due to there being two cars on the pavement at the bottom of a hill after not going around the corner, almost getting hit by someone driving as they do when its dry notice im being sensible and just slam the brakes on and this morning nearly see someone hit a parked car after speeding again, locking up on the ice and going sideways down the road.

Dawin at work, just dont take me or anyone i know out in the process :(

I'm missing all this. we haven't had any snow here until today, and its only a tiny bit, can't even make a snow ball. hopefully get enough to go sledging soon.

We have about a foot here. It comes up to just under my knees in the untouched parts.

We have to dig the cars out every morning and work has been a nightmare as the roads in our industrial estate aren't gritted so the lorries are getting stuck. It has been snowing constantly for 3 days except for a few hours last night. It's pretty but I'm fed up of wasting tyre tread spinning up the hill :(

my good old mini just keeps on going lol!
having great fun, just yesterday it took me about 10 attempts to get up my hill trying from all angles, it was the only road not gritted, some kids were filming, everyone gathered arround lol! eventually i got in, just, and everyone was cheering! i love how the snow brings everyone together lol

fair bit of snow here - no problems though, Audi A4 Quattro is the key :)

About 1.5" here in Cheshire. No problems getting in and out of Manchester.

Don't know what all the fuss is about

got about 2inches at home and a bit less at work... roads are clear apart from the the usual side roads... no issues just means driving a bit slower and more alert.. i quite like it..

Maybe an inch of snow at the most here at the moment, and none at all on the major roads. Using the mini every day just fine.
