This is just the start, more will follow, but i'm not sure what will follow. some of it might be of use to some one. If you want pictures, ask, but as any who has bought stuff from me before, will know that I describe stuff as it is, nothing to hide!!

Righto

Preffer collection. Going to Bingley so can take stuff there.

998 crankshaft *one left*. All bearing journals fine, just need a light polish, taper is perfect. £10 each

998 A+ primary gears 4off. All bushes fine, few marks nothing to worry about, will need a good clean. £5 each

Automatic oil pump, 2off. Removed from two low mileage ( read that as <50k) 998 autos, no play in rotors. Rare item, 'No Longer Available' £25 each

850 main bearings 0.010" and STD thrusts. Removed from a reconditioned short motor that sat for a considerable time. Few light marks but absolutely nothing to worry about. £10

Sold - 12g940 head from a 1994 L reg Mini mayfair carb, Unleaded and gauranteed 18k miles ( I know, I removed it!!) 35/29mm STD valve sizes. Its practically new!

Sold - 998 A+ block STD, could do with a rebore. £10

Sold - 998 +0.060" flat top pistons, 4 ring. Come with used rings which my man says should be fine! £25

small bore rods, 2 sets floating pin, 2 sets interference pin £10 per set.

Metro Turbo clutch plate standard fitment. Unsprung type. Brand new! £10

I will give this lot one week before it goes on ebay.

Added

*15-01-11*

Sold - 1275 linered block standard bore. Needs a rebore. Maybe good for a 1380, or even re linering. £35.

Sold - Small Denso 40a alternator. Un used but does have some damage to the shield on the back, and there is some 'clearancing' on the casing by one of the mountings, spins free with no catching, no reason why it shouldn't work. Its been knocking about in the garage for some time. This will be a real bargin for some one. £15

Un used Rover MPi air conditioning compressor removed from a new Jap model engine. I have had this in storage for some time, and I just don't think I will ever get round to doing anything with it. It comes with the pipe manifold that bolts to the compressor. Oil level would need to be checked before use. This is a very rare item. £75

Added *16-01-11*

Sold - MG Metro Water to oil cooler complete with filter head and the longer mounting studs. These are becoming more and more dificult to find ones that the hose stubs have not rotten away. This one does show signs of corrosion, but the stubs are not waffer thin. It needs a good clean. £20.

Sold - Davies Craig EWP80 electric water pump. Used condition, and comes with no hose stubs or mountings. Has been checked that it spins up, but nothing else. £15.

Gone for recycling into tin cans - Metro Bottom coolant pipe. Cost of postage to anyone who wants it.

I'll be very honest and say that I am not sure if they are floating or interference. They are currently sat on the shelf at the machine shop and have been for that last 3 years LOL. I'll be picking them up tomorrow so I can let you know then.

Sprocket, I will take the pistons, can collect during the week except Wednesday.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

Depnds what car you have since the injection cars are a little more lectric hungry.

Please note that the electrical connector for these are hard to come by. Check out other topics regarding this.

Electric fuel pump? Lamps? Seismic sterio?

I would hazard a guess as to yes it would be ok, but since I have never run one of these since my car is power hungry so I use a 70 amp alternator for the 520w of lamps on the front of the car, I don't really know how they perform. I would have thought that it wouldn't cope if sat in traffic on a daily driver.

Stupid question alert: is the block liner suitable for boring? or would i get that liner removed and replace it with one to take the size to 1293?

Either way ill take it, something can be done with it, even if i swap it for the block on the engine in the car now.
Can get it at bingley if thats not too much of a problem?
