I can't for the life of me find one anywhere and I don't fancy one of the LED barry boy types.

I've got a '79 998, everything interior wise is black, gauges are all black faced with white lettering, made by Smiths, you know the ones *wink* so I'm after one that would fit in and wouldn't stand out like a sore thumb.

My turbo is off a Renault R5, does anyone know if they were fitted with boost gauges as standard? would be nice.

That's all Ebay brings up for 'Renault R5 gauge' *oh well*

TIM one is perfect. Obviously wasn't searching properly, cheers.

And that answers why I couldn't find an R5 gauge. I was hoping it'd be a separate 52mm.

I have a TIM water temp gauge, and using one of those digital heat gun things it was within 1 degree.

Can't comment on the boost gauge though, however im going to get a TIM one though, as it matchesthe rest of my TIM gauges, I will then run a datalog in the megajolt and compare the 2 readings, if it over or under reads, I can always add or subtract the difference in my head to monitor it from the gauge.

Are TIM gauges realy that bad?

Ive no idea about accuracy, I just think they look crap. But they are right at the cheap end of cheap gauges.

I'm only running a timid little 998 turbo so for the meantime as long as it runs smoothly I'll be happy!

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.
