they did not break and they were torqued up correctley!

he oiled them first or used s rod bolts on non s rods or other way round .

Everyone knows that instructions only have to be read if the thing doesn't work....

How about fitted the wrong rod bolts I.E. Cooper S rod bolts in A+ rods ?

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.

It tells you to use oil OR the supplied graphite base lube in the box. :)

And why did the 1450 let go on the M5 ? or was it because it could.

CONGRATULATIONS to turboestate

The rod bolts weren?t lined up with the cut outs in the btm of the rod beams.
they were at 90 degrees out when he torqued them up

the wrench clicked off at the require torque, then the bolts settled in on start up an hey presto! *frown*

An expensive time consuming lesson *frown*

mind you hese a (fire man)

nowt wrong with fire men

but they don?t have too much practice, if at all building engines up

one to remember!

it was the way i Perceived it as the threads were rolling in over a few hours *tongue*

you and jimster both get silver*happy*

as i stated the rod bolts were all torqued up to the required torque *wink*

(they were) for that moment in time!*smiley*

but mr turbo estate hit it SPOT ON!

so in a sense you were ALL right

LOL*happy**happy**happy*
