Is it bad to remove too much unsprung weight from the Mini? I as just wondering as im currently building up my list of parts for my build but was wondering if its a bad thing to change almost everything for alloy, titanium, fibreglass making the car too light? Does that make sense?

i guess you could loose traction and steering if you went mad and had lots of power. need to find nice equal level Edited by wng691s clubby on 9th May, 2011. Done now needs redoing lol |

No such thing as too light, the DON is 440kg or thereabouts, almost everything unspring is alloy/ti.

No, the lighter the car the better it will handle as you have less weight transfer.

you dont want to reduce unsprung weight , you need to add weight to the suspension as more weight will keep them pressed down in contact with the road sureley |
