cracked ring lands? will smoke but wont drop oil in the bore? turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

only thing i can think apart from shagged lands is it was sucking oil from the push rod holes, On 28th Aug, 2011 Kean said:

along the same lines...maybe more likly is it pressureised the crankcase via the pushrod holes.

Robert when my ring lands packed up, i could just see some damage if i looked down the edge of the piston. Stick the gasket on and try a comp test.

Have you cleaned the block between 2 & 3? On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
