just wondering the best cars people have beaten in their cars, thought the results might be quite suprising and encourage others to go down the turbo route |

Every front engined 16v mini with the exception of Tony Wells - I always seem to lose by 0.1 seconds to him for some reason!

Beating Julian from Megamini in his Nissan pulsar gtir at Avonpark in front of a 1000 minifans was quite amusing.

Can't think of best beat as there have been a few, but best keep up with 30 mph to 100 mph was a my mates 500 bhp surpa turbo and a moded skyline.
Best 1/4 mile 13.2 seconds @116 mph

not realy beat much no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

impressive especially the supra/skyline and the pulsar, my mate has a pulsar they're seriously underated was not expecting my head to be planted to the headrest all the time so in a mini it must be mad, cant wait for my new engine !now! |

Yep that was a good race, he only pulled away when my lag kicked in in 3rd gear, caught up to his speed when my turbo kicked in though. He was a good driver, and watching the flames pop with his fast gear changes was a right laugh whilst controlling the torque steer!
