I think that the bar you are referring to, "a bit that went from the rear diagonal to the exhaust tunnel" is for a Safety Devices cage designed for the mighty minis race series. You can find it here:

It wasn't but i do like that, it looks good that there isn't any door bars that you have to jump across but they run along the sills instead, is that an off the shelf cage or is it self made? cheers

That is basically the mighty mini setup from safety devices, however IIRC simon made his dash bar himself.

Its a normal mini back and front cage. I did make my dash bar and also the rear bars that hold the floor to the rear cage.

Which of the rear bars did you make?

What about the bars down the side of the sills? Did you make them or buy them? And also the same with the one that runs along the rear floor? Is it a safety devices cage? Where did you buy it all from? Cheers

The ones that sit across where the back seat was.

The door bars I bought, wish I had just made them(as how much the cost), and yes its a safety devices cage and I got it from Minispeed.

cheers for that mate, i think it is going to have to be a safety devices one, where do you get the twin diagonals from for the rear i can only find the single diagonal on minispares, does anyone know if i was to buy a dash bar would that fit between the rear just near the rear seat area like a couple have done on here.
Thanks for all the help guys

The cross over rear diagonal is only with the multipoint cage not the normal one. As for the bar between the rear bars, your going to have to make your own, or customise a door/dash bar like vergard has done.
