You could also use the anti run on valve if you can find one, Andy |

Loads of suitable valves to use for this, all you need is a solenoid 2 position valve. I bought the boost control valve for the DON off ebay from a Volvo or something for about £5.

Yep looks OK. After all it is just a valve that operates to open and close the passage through it when you turn on and off the electrical supply. I am assuming you want it to rig up some kind of switchable boost bleed.

whats the idea behind this andy, having that as a switch which say limits it to 8psi to get off the line, then flick a switch/press a button to let it boost to the desired boost, 16/18/20psi etc. ? i fancy something similar. Audi s4 b5 - 470bhp & 486ft lbs

simon ( madmk1) had this fitted to his it was the reason we couldnt get over 12psi boost, the valve couldnt flow enough, un coupling it we got 18-20psi on the same bleed valve settings
Yes i moved to the darkside |

Also I dont think it was plumed into well before. All is well now. Simon. I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Its not only useful for drag starts as it is excellent for pissing off chavs/novas/corsas (insert your own version) when you switch to high boost as they draw level -very childish but very satisfying. |

That's the reason I'm thinking off, 8-10psi for everyday knocking about, big boost for when needed Audi s4 b5 - 470bhp & 486ft lbs

You could use the megajolt to do the switching for you. If you set one of the outputs to switch at, say, 2000rpm it would take care of it for you. On the drag you shouldn't go below 2000rpm when changing gear so it would stay switched all the way to the line. You could still install a dash switch so that you can switch it off totally if you don't want full boost. |

2k rev's is a bit low. on 20psi ish we can't get it of the line easily and it spins up in second. trying for actuator boost in 1st/ early second then give it the beans in third. On 11th Feb, 2015 robert said:
