I brought our borrowed trailer round to the house last night in preparation for today's trip. I boxed it into the driveway last night with the golf so it was relatively hidden, however the wife took the car away early this morning so it is in full view if you drive way.

If you get round to you local go outdoors shop or the like they do steel hitch covers for as little as £12 with padlock, wont stop them but they will make a fair bit of noise trying to get it off and will take some time well worth £12 in my book Crystal Sound Audio said:

Can you not get a neighbour to park one of their cars infront of it? Of course it depends how well you get on with them, and that theirs isn't also guarding something! |

managed to move the trailer back a bit to let me park the TT across the front of it. Just as well as the same van appeared up the street again.........followed very shortly by PC plod! |

Hitch locks are a waste of money - they just wrap a chain round the A frame and then round their hitch so they can drag it away and take their time in removing the lock.

a big capacitor and some mains voltage, oh a sho gun would be handy... I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

mains is best but make sure you remove the trip out of the fuse box or they wont be on it for long also make sure you can prove the trailers your friend of mine gypos had it he followed them called the police and they wouldnt do anything because he couldnt prove ownership |
