started the car up today to find no oil pressure, so i investigate further to find that my oil is like glue :(
13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

right well i changed the oil a week ago (but not the filter) after my head cracked and i was burning coolent. the oil wasent that contaminated that came out.

sounds to me somes added sugar into your petrol this will turn the oil to a syrup |

right had a think and the oil was done sunday and i nipped out that day, then went a 20 min drive to leicester and back thats all ive done, could i have a dodgy batch of oil? 13.95 1/4 mile on a 2.95 fd. Carnt be that hard to beat! |

So you changed the oil on Sunday, then it started to run like shit on the Monday and now you have jelly in your sump. Sounds like bad oil to me. No idea how you are going to get it out of there though....

I use that stuff, on saying that the engine is nothing special and i wouldn't use it on my new build, but ive never had a problem with it, perhaps just a bad batch? If so i suggest that they recall the stuff and investigate :/
