Right ive put all my case together to take him to court, handed it in, payed the court fees. Now heres the annoying bit, i got a letter from a firm basically saying he in liquidation and i have to apply to them for a meeting to try and get a percentage of what he owes me back. But if hes in liquidation then why is he still trading, trading online, trading on tmf and ebay. How does that work? So pissed off now at what martain from mra is doing, its immoral and theft. If the company is in liquidation it hasn't been registered yet with companies house as they still show the company as active.

Ignore the "firm" saying he is in liquidation - common scam - just proceed through the courts. Only the Courts can determine the proper outcome. It may not be what you want but at least there won't be any ambulance chasers there.

If I'm correct (and its not that often!) then the apointed receivers can continue to run a business in administration (not sure this would technically be insolvency though). A bankrupt individual is a differing situation

Speaking to someone we suspect hes closing down "mra engineering" i suspect to dodge certain things and keeping mra minis which if so isnt a problem it turns out as my paperwork has mra minis on it. Still a bit dogey but hopefully he wont be getting away with it. On 17th Feb, 2011 apbellamy said:

I've had many happy dealings with MRA, always found them very helpful with speedy service. They even bought some stuff off me and traded some of the cost for machining work. I know that isn't a guarantee of service to anyone else, but I'll continue to use them as long as the service to me remains good.

James, i'm sure there are many happy customers of MRA, ,but unfortunatly ever since they came onto turbo minis threatening legal action against a member for infringing there cpoyright on a product, [ a copyright that could never possibly exist] they lost all respect from the members on here the remember the episode,

He, took my money for an engine, head, box and loads more. A year an a half later after constant promises or it bring done and i not i said look do it or ill have my money and ill go elsewhere, thats when he went funny, ignored calls etc then finally managed to get my car back, he threw out a shabbily built short engine which ill have to have rebuilt as it a bit conspicous. And a load or rough old casting an old flywheel. Despite a whole turbo engine going into him. Now the measily stuff above and a big hole in my bank, i took out a loan to pay him which ive just payed off. He has obviously ploughed the money into the Mra minis and when i took it to court he thought if he closes mra engineering the moneys his which to me is theft. Right won ky courtcase against him, he was ordered to pay me, so the fucking bellend put mra in voluntary liquidation, and guess what the 2 biggest creditors are him and someone with the same name, how the fucks that work how can u close your own company claiming it owes you money.
