Not sure if it's the photo but the front wheel looks to be neutral to me. I would have thought that 1.5 degrees up front and half a degree on the rear is about right? I've been thinking about the suspension setup for a while and that's what i came up with. On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

The rear definitely looks positive to me, unsure or the toe, that could just be the arches giving false impressions On 26th Jan, 2012 Tom Fenton said:

Does that fact that the rear axis of the car is at about 5 degrees to the road not give you some clue about what the static camber is with that wheel unloaded and the car sat at rest??

Longy will know all about this, but you could rig up a strain gauge. I can imagine its quite a complex setup, but there may be some basic setups available. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Fusion-Fabri..._homepage_panel

simply set up a probe that references on the inner rim lip and set back say 5mm , then see if it is rubbing after a session, , |

I recon its an optical illusion with the toe out, the roll, and the angle of the picture. On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

Don't know what arms you run, but the cast (standard and KAD) bend under heavey cornering, especialy with tyres like that. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

heres a thought, assuming its not an optical illusion, could the beam be bending and not the arms? assuming its only bolted on the outer edges (which i doubt) as it looks like the wheel off the deck has a bit of positive camber about it aswell lol turbo 16v k-series 11.9@118.9 :)

Can anyone think of any ideas how I can monitor the radius arm for bending? they are KAD ally ones. pretty basic idea jim , but what you could do is , get a piece of steel rod or box ,say 5mm diameter ,attach it to the arm near the wheel,so it sit vertically and make a slot in the shell so it comes inside the car ,then have a pointer on the in car end rubbing on a scale ,and them paint the scale . the idea being that any twist will make the pointer scrape the scale plate sideways .any pure up and down motion would just leave a vertical score . edit to say ,this wont work becuase the swing of the arm would mean a fore and aft motion of about a ft lol, wouldnt want a metal pole spiking you in the ear . a better option would be a short spike sticking out of the back of the hub centre with a plate bodyshell mounted at a right angle to the arm ,and a right angled bend on the end of the spike bearing on the plate .... ,this would show a straight line on a plate if it was only going up and down ,and a weird spirograph pattern if flexing .. Interestingly I was reading about the Honda BTCC car last night and it was talking about the rear suspension steering under load. But it is a deliberate design (even on the road car). Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph
