I cant afford this if i join a mini club like cardiff mini club will it reduce my insurance? Plus should i just not delcare the turbo engine and insure as a 998cc fully comp on my name i can get this for ?1000. Please help will they laugh at me if i say its got a turbo engine in it? |

if you don't tell them you have a turbo engine in there, you may as well have no insurance at all On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

you're only looking at about a 10% discount if that for being a member of a club, try the british mini club about £15 a year.

I paid £2950 per year when I was 21, I had no points, and some no claims, car was garaged, under 6k miles a year, with trakcer fitted, although that wasn't on a mini, I still paid it On 15th May, 2009 TurboDave said:

Why not insure with a specialist Alex... like HIC, adrain flux? Alex Tried that HIC: £2000, all in one payment (special policy) with NO refunds. AF: £2700, wouldn't do agreed value. Brentacre: £1998 (just to beat HIC) - same deal really. no one else would even insure me! |

Well not being funny you have two choices, pay through the nose, or otherwise do what everyone else did when they were 18 and drive about in something that is a low insurance group..........
