I wouldnt worry about washers, the weight saving over stainless ones wont justify them, I generally dont use washers if I dont need to anyway

Hi gr4h4m,

Alternator -----------( do you get nuts?) ---------sorry no unless we get a 100 of them.
Alternator bracket ----------Titanium (UNF) 3/8” x 1 1/2”-----will do the inside one.
Exhaust manifold --------- Titanium (UNF) 5/16”x1” -----they is no studs but bolts will work
Thermostat housing -------- Titanium (UNC) 5/16”x1 ¾” -----if you are just using the housing i am sure they work

I hope this helps.

Where does the cost with these actually lie ?

Would it be a silly suggestion, to say have them all made 2" long for any given thread size, and simply cut them to length ?

Or will they be making them with smooth shanks and then the threads etc ?

It would certainly make it easier to make up the 100pcs for any order. And perhaps more versatile as you find more places to use the bolts.

202mph standing mile
speed didn't kill me, but taxation probably will

Hi mate,
It was the best quote i could find all in, with shipping and taxes etc.. so i am going with it.

As for standardising the bolts as you can see i have just asked for them to be 1" long so they have more uses than just in the eng. As for the bolts with a shank they will be an exact copy as the OE part with a 12 point head.
