Anyone seen any ???

I filled up early on Monday as I expected the dispute to escalate.

I had no problems on Monday but saw some fairly long queues today at filling stations that are usually quiet for rural Suffolk.

Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ???

Not seen any yet, but then I don't leave the house.

That Wazzock of a PM has told everyone to fill up, I believe.

Stephen Hawking - "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge."

I tanked up at about 2pm (cos my tank was low, not because I'm worried about a shortage) there were significant queues for the time of day but no worse than a typical Sat/Sun afternoon.

If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of.

No idea, we have been filling ours for years. Some garages get funny, but once it is full it is a bit late. Just fill it out of site of the till ladies.

well i managed to run out in the audi again this evening on the way home (it doesn't go as far on empty as the old car did!). The wife took me to the local station to get a can and i filled her car up at the same time - only had deisel left. went and got mine going and went back to the same place and managed to put £2.64 in before they ran out of diesel!

filled up an another station - £1.49/litre! The guy in that station said it was going daft all evening

Preston On The Brook

Service stations ram packed round Warrington/ Runcorn.

I fill a 5 litre can on a fill up, and dump that into the 20 litre. Only need to fill up 4 times to fill the 20litre, but I have been into the fuel station with the 20 litre and filled it up in plain view of the kiosk. They are more concerned about the use of inappropriate containers, and a jerry can designed for the storage and transportaion of fuel is hardly an inappropriate container. The law however does stipulate a maximum amount of fuel you can store.

To be fair, the same would happen if he hadn't said anything. Slightest bit of news coverage and the sheep are out brimming the tanks. The media has a lot to answer for in the last few years, far too often things are over egged to the point of no return.

No queues here, apart from at Morrisons where all the cheap skates and coffin dodgers go.
