After today, im 100% convinced it has to be an air impact gun. Normally preverto flywheels are a complete arse to get off, used the impact gun on the puller and it popped off in seconds!
Obviously theres places where you can't and shouldn't use it, but most of the time for undoing anything it's an extremely useful piece of kit!
Another good use is wheel bearings, after you've torqued it up, its the best thing ever for lining the split pin holes up!

I agree on the impact wrench. Very useful. I have a garage full of tools and gadgets but I couldn't live without my angle grinder, specially with 1mm cutting wheel in it. Not used a hacksaw for years.

But to be honest the most useful thing in there (and not exactly a tool..) is the little note scribbled on a white board on the wall saying "have a go before you pay some fucker else for it". Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but every time you learn something.

Got one of those at work, shared unit, I think it's on the way out though, it's proper noisy and smells like burning rubber although the belt isn't slipping.
New compressor time soon I think for the other chap!
