Hi everyone,
Been reading the forum for the past month or so as I've finally started back on the mini, so thought I should say hey, and more importantly thank you to everyone who has made this site, just frankly priceless.
Little bit about me...... I live in North Yorks, I'm massively into push bikes (road/bmx/mtb) and I'm a bike mechanic. I'm really into car audio, which I know some of you aren't for but its not a 'loud' car, I'm building the mini as an sq car for the 2014 EMMA season. So if I can help in either areas, I'm all ears
The mini is a bit of a long term project, been on with it 7 years now, but its having a large amount of work done this year as all the other projects have been sidelined or finished! So it's a 2 tone colour, few smoothed bits, standard turbo engine with just the addition of an inter cooler and a bleed valve to start with, once the car is bedded in, I'll pull the engine out over the first winter season and do a bit of work on it.
Anyway, that's enough of all that, hello everyone :)

Hi APS I am a member of a club actually, it happens to be the "people who think Andy Bellamy is a bell end club"-we have quite a lot of members already and its growing all the time!

In all seriousness nothing mini related other than this one, thats if indeed I am a member of this club yet? lads? seems I just tend to turn up occasionally-take the piss, paint shop some random shit and then leave-anyhow thats way off topic.

If my so called friends are to be believed I actually bear more of a resemblence to the famous comic Peter Kay-only fatter and not as funny or indeed as some one once pointed out, I look like a 'bust matress'.

Anyhow I am located about the Strensall sort of area

Ok so no club then. I used to belong to one many moons ago when I lived down south, but not found one up here. Sometimes miss it for the banter and having friends to come give you a hand from time to time.

Benross, it would be rude not to take you up on that offer. I'm a bit busy with work for a couple of weeks, but I'll defo head down for a cuppa. Can run in a trip to ferrybridge aquatics too

Ah thanks man, but its a bit of a trip down for me! I live about 30 mins north of York like. :)
However, I live where there are some gorgeous driving roads, so if anyone wants a trip out to the north york moors, there is ALWAYS a cuppa and a biscuit going. :)
