I suppose it depends how much you paid for it, if it was a couple of ££ then you get what you pay for. |

Probably not, i saw the pipe and thought it looked like someones first attempt at welding posted up to get some brutally honest opinions as if it was my first attempt then pan out to the bigger picture >.< Back OT: the pipe is almost useless to me as it needs the boss re-threading at the least then the issue of flow not to mention the heat putting strain on it wouldnt last 10 minutes I could have got it shipped in from poland or china for cheaper too, and the welds look alot better! boss you can pick up for £2, short section of exhaust pipe £3 (£8 a metre) then about 30p of gas & wire so there is profit out of £15 especially when scaled up they are official dealers of many parts including brembo so should know what theyre doing Im going to throw down the gauntlet and say i can do a better job having never welded in my life (soldering doesnt count does it? )
Calling them tomo and see what they say and will post up the details after Edited by WRLondon on 24th Jul, 2013. Soldering counts and will give an air tight join if you get the solder and flux right. That and brazing would be my preference. Own the day

imo that's nasty man but the idea (in my mind) of tmf is to help others out so if i found myself in that positions id get the die grinder inside to flatten it out as well as cut a fresh Chanel to re weld the outside as for that bit of slag/balled up bits from the threads try a tap if a crude way is to just smack it out with a drift or screwdriver but that may damage the threads

EDIT: :answered the phone finally after just over an hour, going to show the guys at the workshop the pics and email me with their response before close of day (4pm) watch this space haha Edited by WRLondon on 25th Jul, 2013.
