Just a little one for you avon virgins.

You are going to be racing use a catch tank from your rad overflow pipe, a coke can or pastic bottle cable tied in.

Might save you queuing back up to scrutineer.

Battery also needs to be securely fastened -
I've had a piece of rope holding mine down succesfully for the past few years!

No nitrous obviously in the road-going class... I was speaking to Dave Hollis from the BMC yesterday (about the write-up i'll be doing) and he mentioned they're aware someone was secretly running it last year and will therefore be watching out for them!

Of course - road-tyres only in class-D aswell!

yup anything will do. most people just bodge in an empty beer can or something. just to stop the overflow water going on the track thats all.

I got picked up on my seats not locking down the first year i went aswell, sorted with a few cable ties i think *wink*

Just looked at the weather. I reckon you best include a high SPF sun protection cream and a hat on that list.

Oh, and a helmet, if you have one.

And a long sleve top

Thanks Wil_h, much appreciated. I was wondering if they had introduced a road going section for Class I yet, looks like I will be running against space framed cars *oh well*

common, tell us what you've got. I can see you're itching too.

I always try and get in class G, but they never fall for it. Class A for me this year though.

Well I recognise the username MarkLD from 16vmini - so I'm guessing it's got more valves than us mortals!

should be ok, give it a good clean underneath just before you take it to be scrutineering. or a dab of silcion sealent on the outside may stop it dripping for long enough. as long as its not major you should be fine.

We've tie-rapped a rag under the timing chain cover to absorb iol in the short term to get throiugh scrutineering.

The Half moon seal had gone, and that's abigger job than tie-rapping rags every couple of runs.
