Yeah I turned up on sunday. Nice show of turboed minis. Great weekend for it.

Can I say a big thanks to Tom Fenton for all his help! If there was a prize for Mr Nice Guy, Tom, you'd win! he was the first to dive in with the spanners to help me change my clutch Saterday night, and even missed out on some drinking time! And again helped on sunday when I snapped my top engine steady bolt in the block! I was going to give up then, as it was only around 30 mins for the runs ending! One more run @ 2.54pm gave mw 13.83148, my 60ft time still needs work @ 2.281 I crossed the line at 101.24. I could not wind the boost up higher than 17psi as my boost retard was pulling off too much adv, and the laptop battery was flat. But I'm well chuffed with second place!

Nicky and Alex, great as always, Dan and Iain, good drinking buddys, Turbo phill and the rest of the Brown cow Racing team, got the BEERS IN! Jon is just pure entertainment as always, and the head gasket (and now clutch) bar is class!

were we the only group to have chilled larger on tap?

On a positive note jon did tell me why he and jim are the fastest at avon, its all in the lucky mascots, sheep for Jim and toothbrush for Jon i presume placing them in a certain position helps as well

placement is everything, I moved my sheep from the left to the right side of the car, much better times

yes good weekend, got back about 23.30, now i need a weekend to rest!! i don't feel i stopped once, well taking pictures all the time i prob didn't!

yes well done Jon, Jim And Tim and Carl and every one else i haven't said about on your places and efforts.

I run sat as some of you know. my best speed over the line out of me 8 runs was 109.75 mph which i was pleased with that (and the gearbox held to!!!!!!!!!
