Had an issue this week with someone bidding and winning an item I was selling as collection only. Wanted posting to Spain.

Bac to ebay. Ebay is happy to take your fees but cares very little about experienced sellers.

Sold a lawn mower a few years back as spares and repairs , guy came to look at it and told him all, the faults etc , he tried it and told me he would be bidding , he won it for 99p and collected it the following day . 2 days later negative feed back saying it was too expensive to repair ! I called him and he said it wasn't what he was expecting , but he paid 99p for a working brigs & Stratton powered ride on mower ! Since then never sold anything through eBay , just use it as advertising ! |

Appeal to eBay to have it removed, I say you've a fair chance of them doing it, I have had it removed before.

As per Tom, eBay will remove negative feedback if the seller gives them a valid reason - it's been done to me and the negative I left was valid (well IMO anyway) but the seller got it removed.

Not that long ago I bought something from hong kong for my r/c car, waited an acceptable amount of time, nothing turned up so I messaged the seller saying I'm happy to wait a small time longer but nothing has arrived, due to the time it would take i wouldn't like another sent out and just a refund instead, they sent me the money straight away no questions asked! had it with EBAY loads of times had one dick buy some thermal blinds for his camper he messaged and said he really needed them for next day as he was going on holiday in 2 days. fair enough I said as a favour I would send them parcel farce 24hr, and to be fair they tried to deliver the next day but the knob wasnt in! they delvered the day after left with neighbour as the knob wasnt in, got negative feedback for not delivering on time and ruining his holiday....COCK... took about 3 hours of messaging John Smith or some made up name who was clearly in mumbai or somewhere to eventually remove it but it can be done but god its an arse.... |
