that's why you don't weld pistons this happened after around 200 miles after it was built

welding pistons is just as mad as welding crankshafts and people do that all the time

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

yes the piston had a hole in it in the beginning. welded it up then machined it flat. also these are bmw pistons not mini pistons
also please note all 4 pistons are welded

thy are bmw k100 pistons they are perfect in a 998 or 850 as they don't need skimming but a was running them in a 1098 so thy required skimming

998=1075cc
1098=1181cc

I machined the piston crowns to a could use them with a 1098 crank built the engine up and ran it did 396 miles then put a 10 mm hole in one of the pistons so I pulled the engine out striped it my brother welded the hole up and built the inside of the crowns up on all the pistons with weld re assembled it thn a did about 200 miles and fucked up as u see now
