When I'm driving I just can't get onto boost. Basic metro turbo engine running a megajolt.

It Bogs down and misfiring at 3k and won't go anywhere past that.

Any ideas?

Could be that the fuel pressure is not rising as the boost comes on.

is the pressure feed to the float bowl clear and not blocked by the gasket?

Would this happen while driving, the problem just suddenly happened one day while I was over taking a car on the bypass.

what about the pressure regulator? just thinking aloud but if the diaphragm has spli for instance, it wont be raising the fuel pressure as it comes on boost?

Post a photo of your carb plumbing. Check the part throttle pipe for splits.

To check the gasket it's the one after removing the plenum?

Pluming looks right. If it was working before then it probably is.

The lean off pipe looks in good nick, but worth checking for splits.

What is the ignition system? Standard metro turbo? Could be a knackerd ignition module.

Ignition is megajolt running the default map so should be fine in regards to that

Plugs are brand new, less than a week old and the signal from the megajolt seems spot on.

Check that the trigger wheel has not moved. They can slip and will always retard which is lucky.
