What an awesome day!
Really enjoyed myself today, had a good time with the TM guys and girls, and really enjoyed watching some ace cars get hooned around. I only went out in two cars, but they were both excellent.

Yes same story here, an excellent day out.

I managed to get a good few laps in, some very interesting cars there, one of the best for me was the Austin Healey 3000, much faster than you would give it credit for, and also very entertaining to follow around the circuit! I think everyone will have their own favourite car from the day, that was mine! I actually donated a sum of money to the charity myself, as I enjoyed the day so much. If you thought about coming along but didn't, I'd strongly recommend it, a GREAT day out.

Also just want to say thanks to everyone that helped out with running the car, strapping people in, pushing it when it wouldn't start, changing wheels over, refuelling, etc. Thanks to Alex B, Nicky, Iain, Dan, Alex F, Brian Dangerous.
I think all of you managed to get a few laps in during the day, either with myself, or with Flan the man behind the wheel. Due to this I expect I will now be know as "That barmy brummie tosspot" as opposed to just "That brummie tosspot" LOL!
Thanks also to Jim and Jon for some of their fuel.
Final thanks also to Jim for putting me up and making me very welcome on Friday night.

Tom - exhaust on Ruth's pug has broken in front of the silencer (not baffles as I suspected). Now sounds worse than your tractor! I just can't wait to find out what's going to break next. Daren't go for a pi$$ in case it snaps off in my hand...

Yep definitely a top day, i'll get the photos on the computer later on today and email them to their owners

excellent day was had by all i think, apart from the guy driving the vx220!

and thanks to tom for the ride out onto combe which was definitely an experiece, the car took a thumping all day long and then he drives it home ~ respect!

my best ride was in the race spec 911, driven by Nick Faure, who has competed in le mans 8 times I think. Speaking to him we asked him what other racing he did, the list he gave us went on and on and on.... veyr nice guy too.

It was definately my besdst spin round the track as well, top driver and nice guy! He certainly had a long list of championships to list that he'd been in!

The spin round in tom's car with jon was superb as well. very impressive. Cheers guys

Shame the mini's didnt hold up as it would have been interesting to go round in one or the other. maybe next year ill be doing the chasing!

Donated my bit towards charity too, dont mind when its for a good cause

Said to be the one of the best 911 pilots in the world....ever driven one?....They are very difficult to drive very fast with such a heavy back end and so much power...I have driven with nick in the wet and it is an awsome experience.

Love the last bit of the 2nd vid where tom drives into "The Esses" chicane the camera takes a dive, like it does when you pull a G or two at you hear Tom pi$$ing himself laughing!
