I really like the 'stealth' radiator install....

NOT!!!

One guy from 16v mini managed to get the XE in a roundnose with no bonnet bulge, and no sticky-out rad. That is impressive. This to me looks half-arsed, albeit something i'd no doubt like to own....

well, someone has more money than sense if it does...

A 300 quid box-stock XE engine and gearbox, along with a 1500 quid pickup, a 500 quid set of rims, and a 300 quid sprayjob don't neccesarilly make a 5K motor...

I'd be more wary of the suspension being all to cock. Maybe there is a reason for this - ie to get the engine so far back, he moved some suspension points around...

I am a tool.

The pick up was not £1500, it was free, it was also completely shagged.

The paint was also free, and I lent him my booth to do it in he got the materials from his workplace.

The frame was home brewed, he tried to copy my AMT frame as best he could (altough not using the top arm design)

wheels etc he took of his last mini, I gave him the imprezza seats, and the radiator you definately could NOT get in the engine bay, trust me.

I think alexF saw this mini in its last "guise" when it was black clubman.

Fair play though it is quick, but its a bit of an animal.

It looks it !
I'm sure it would be fun to drive, but I'm a firm believer that the mechanical bits should go on the inside *wink*

yeh think in my humble opinion its a half cocked job, the rad could have even gone in the back with the pipework either coming through, or under the car seen it done thousands of times....had it been moi i ould have had the front end extended and thought of another bonnet choice but hum ho each to their own i guess. as for the back wheel looks straight to me...it is a crying shame to do that to a pickup though

it is agreed value stands at £6.500.

as for what it will sell for i really do not know.
at the moment it has 98 whatching so it could go for a little more than it stands at the moment.
if you are looking to bid to buy this car you should realy find the time before sat to come and see.
thanks

that truely is a beutiful motor and what a pickup should look like...the only way i would change / spoil it would be to put a mk 1 cooper grille on it (not the wavey horrible one)
