I just sealed a deal on a racecar for next years seaon. I have always fancied a bit of circuit racing and 2006 is going to be my year to have a bash.(hence all the stuff for sale)

I have purchased a proven race winning MG Metro Challenge car from a chap who has owned the car for many years. Lots of devplement has gone into the car over many seasons.

It is an original Challenge car with many "works" factory mods like the extra thick anti roll bars,custon large capacity radiator,side exit through sill exhaust and heated 6R4 front screan. The car was built from a new shell in the 90's as a race car and never a road car.

The engine is relitively mild but to the regs so close reliable racing is on the agenda.

I hope to see some mini fans cheering us on at some meetings.

jon this might sound nuts but i have a few door handles left of my metty rally x car (they break so easily) if you damage any giz a shout you can have em 4 nowt, also got some ball joints which again fail quite easy on the mettys all yours mate and good luck, just got to get yourself a proban and a nice open face helmet !

Yes the car is turbo charged, the maods are in the regs but in a nut shell it is 1293,sccr challenge box,lsd,flowed head,MG metro camshaft and wait for it a max of 5psi of boost.

The extreems have a a 14/15 round season where as the Drayton manor is 8/9, at over £300 a meeting it makes the season alot more expensive. Also in extreems the spec is vertually free making it very expensive to be a top runner...Make sense?

Alex, Odicombe, Finlake and Gurston Down Hillclimbs. The Srints were on Castle combe.

Used to run midfield in a class of 20ish, the 1760 crossflow escorts were awsome.
