Hannibal: There are two ways we can do this: the easy way and the hard way. In a few minutes my friends and I are going to come down on you like your worst nightmare. You're gonna wish the Earth had opened up and swallowed you whole.
bad guy: What's the easy way?
Hannibal: That WAS the easy way.

I was curious what became of 'computervision' so just googled this result:

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Computervision, Inc. (CV) was an early pioneer in turnkey Computer Aided Design and Manufacturing (CAD/CAM). Computervision was founded in 1969 by Marty Allen and Phillippe Villers, and headquartered in Massachusetts, USA. Its early products were built on a Data General Nova platform. Starting around 1975, Computervision built its own, Nova-compatible, computers using its own operating system. In the 1980s, Computervision transitioned to Unix.

Computervision's first product, CADDS-1, was aimed at the printed circuit layout and 2-D drafting markets.

Integrated circuit layout was added with the CADDS-2 product, which had a dedicated operating system and a 16-bit graphic database. When this proved insufficient resolution for VLSI (very large scale integration), the company developed CADDS-2/VLSI in the late 1970s. CADDS-2/VLSI included a new operating system, a 32-bit database, and user expandability through a dedicated programming language called ICPL (integrated circuit programming language), which was a dialect of BASIC, based on an interpreter licensed from Fairchild Semiconductor. The original CADDS-2 ran on Data General Nova 1200 computers. CADDS-2/VLSI ran on Computervision's own hardware.

3-D design was added in the mid 1970s with the CADDS-3 product. Tailored packages were available for CAD drafting, CAM (computer-aided manufacturing), 3-D modeling, piping and plant design, printed circuit board layout, instrument panel design, and many other applications.

Computervision merged with Prime Computer in 1988 and acquired GE Calma (its major competitor in the microelectronic CAD market) in 1989. Computervision was acquired by Parametric Technology Corporation in 1998 which (as of 2004) still supports the CADDS-5i product for existing users.

Just looked on the BMH auction page:

http://www.users.myisp.co.uk/~climengs/gay...don_auction.htm

Seems this metro was sold to a 13 year-old (daddies money maybe) who paid £7k for it!

No that is correct, the 6R4's competed in the rally championship, the turbos in the touring cars.

6R4 looks good for a metro, but what about the RS200? saw both in action a while ago and boy did they shift, thought the 6R4 weight was 760kgs??
They were all banned including the T16, lancia thingy (turbo and super) etc etc. I believe an RS200 and a 6R4 killed 3 people in a rally so they were deemed to be unsafe? too powerful easy 600bhp often 800bhp. always wanted to have a go in one! can anyone help!

Well, even if i was in need of changing it, It'd be easy to get it rebuilt. And if ALL the gears were fooked, i'd just get some more (superior) units designed and made. Max cost = not that much at all....
