well i always liked turboed minis so this site and otheres have inspired me to turbo mine. metro turbo parts in australia are hard to get and are expensive, so it was going to be a custom job.

the manifold will be a home made one till i can aford a mirage manifold. it is made from steel and houses a t2 turbo of a n12 pulsar. its unfinished atm but will be soon hopfully.

this will be going on the red clubman in my display pic which has a 1142cc engine. the turbo will go on that engine as the cr is quite low. i have got a hif44 turbo carb ilet manifold and plenium so it all is starting to come togetther.

also here are some pics of what i have done so far

manifold

oil return

Do not forget connectors for pressure-line to the fuel regulator and maybe one for mounting a boost pressure valve before welding.

And a tip: Make sleeves inside the plenum, where the screws for mounting plenum-carb go through.
This is good for stability, when you screw on. And you have no problems with leak tightness at these holes... *wink*

g'day, im in Australia building a turbo 998 clubman, agree %100, turbo parts r a real bitch 2 get ur hand on over hear, just wondering what your making your exhaust manifold from, i'v just finished making a stainless steal one but have herd that using mild steal steam pipe is a much better option.

would it not be easier to get new mounts, rather than make up a plenum ?

I would hate to have to take the tappet chests off with that attached!!! Just out of interest does your tappet chest have the breather on it, or does it clear it?
