Cool. Erm...not wanting to seem too much of a divvy, but what exactly do you mean by the "drive flanges"?

The drive flange is the bit that connects your brake disk to your hub and cv joint... it also carries the studs for your wheels!

you will need to grind down the 4 lugs on the metro drive flanges cos otherwise your wheels wont go on. |

era caliper bolts have the right sized thread and the right sized shank to hold the caliper firmly in place, neither the metro or the mini ones are quite right. something to do witht the metro using metri and the mini not or something.
And on the 7th day........... God created turbochargers! |

i think it messes up the geometry or summat like that if you use all metro stuff. On 20th Oct, 2015 Tom Fenton said:

It widens the track and wrecks your suspension angles completely!!!

Using metro hubs basically wears the inside edge of your tyres down real fast, like they have on mine. |

I am working on a resurected project-has sat in the garage for about 5 years --and I'm buggered if I can remember which hubs I have. Is there an easy way to tell the difference between Metro and Mini???? |

the metro hub's don't have grease nipples for the ball joints as the metro uses non servicable ball joint's |

Its not so much the flanges widen the track... its more the KPI is changed for the worse as the bottom arm on metros is in a different place. Negitive camber arms will sort out the camber for you but the KPI is still wrong.

the flanges space the wheel's out for the vented disc to clear the hub |
