I haven't weighed it for some time but it's pretty light.

At the moment she's in a million pieces undergoing a full nut and bolt rebuild and of course lots more modification.

Long time no-see Dave.

Are you going to divulge what's in the pipeline for the rebuild then. I'm thinking you must be planning something to try and keep up with Phill Short's 7 pporter.

We'll be out soon in the new car, you planning on doing a Scarborough this year?

Hi Miniturboman.

Anyone that knows this car will tell you that the spec is huge and would take ages to type in here. Lets just say it has pretty much all the bells and whistles.

Wil,

Glad to see you're still around mate, I look forward to seeing the new car. As for what's happening to mine during the rebuild I really can't say. It'll have more power, better grip and better brakes. And as usual I'm spending a feckin fortune. I have also managed to solve some fundamental problems discovered when I stripped the car. Not sure if i'm doing Scarborough yet but I'm sure you'll see me out and about racing before too long. Just hope I've made it a bit quicker.

Dave.

What - in a straight line????
I can't see many (any?) minis off this site beating it round a track...
If you're talking about outright speed - then you'll have to beat Matt Woods who has seriously fast potential....

You got a timeframe in mind - just so we can check back on this? *tongue*

Well I don't know anything about TVRDaves car, but judging from the pictures, you must have something fairly spectacular up your sleeve if you are sure it is going to be faster than that? I'd guess that with track that wide, cornering speeds would be high to say the least!

She does go round a track quite well I must admit.

That said I have discovered a few places, geometry wise, where she could be improved and have done exactly what was needed. I have hopefully added a bit more power too.

She is currently undergoing a ground up rebuild. All the major bits have arrived and most of the major modifications are done.

Straight line wise there are some minis here that will beat her, I think she ran 14.4 secs at Avon Park. But this car is all about going around corners.

I'm hoping that she will be complete in march and am looking forward to giving her a good test.

Dave.
