This may sound like a stupid question but with this diff does it make any difference which engine its in i.e. an A series or A+? Or are there two different types? |

it will fit both 1293 Turbo mini

yes the diff will fit because i had 1275 A and the engine blow up and i fitted a metro 1275 A+ engine and used the diff all the std pots will fit in the diff 1293 Turbo mini

go for a non verto set up, race/rally plate and a grey diaphram

Bud what clutch are you using? What figures are u putting out im looking to push towards 150 bhp and as much torque as i can get |

minispares do a sc gear set for the gearbox for about £400 1293 Turbo mini

yes the clubman gearset is fabola that’s what i run as it incorporates some of your old helicals as well which cuts down on the price.

Do you guys think the standard gears are up to taking the power i want If i just change to a cross pin diff and straight cut drop gears?

My personal opinion is that 150bhp on the standard gears is going to be very marginal and potentially not very reliable. Consider the damage a grenaded gearbox can do to your expensive engine, this is the main reason I went for full straight cut gears.
