If you upload it in a more common format it would be easier for people to watch.

For example an mpeg or avi file.

I'd guess a lot of people including me cannot open your .mov file.

I'm not too clever with my PC, so changing the file format could be a tough one for me...*oh well*

Dangerous...
I have airducting that channels air from beneath the front of the car to the underside of the i/cooler, and will shortly have a vent of some kind (nothing garish) above the i/cooler. Should work well *happy*

Cheers Giallofly, i have put alot of effort into the build.

12 months in the making, but I've finally got her to what I called 'nearly finished'.

I'll perhaps do another video of the whole car in the daylight if you'd be interested...considering it isn't exactly a mini *smiley*

Will make a video in the daylight tomorrow if the weather is kind, you may be interested to see the complete car *smiley*

I agree very tidy.

Yes turbocharged a series is what this forum is for.

There are other places for people with 998's wondering about stage one kits....

Cheers SumpNut, i've tried to keep things looking clean n tidy.

I seem to be the only chap running a highly modified Metro Turbo for road use?

So many have rusted away I guess. That and the fact that the a-series engine isn't exactly cheap to get big BHP from, and why do it to a Metro? ha, i must be mad.

Thanks Nic, this is only my second project after building a 1380cc MED Engined MG Metro, which was this one:

http://www.metropower.co.uk/Portal/default.asp?id=75&mnu=75

That was also my first car, and my tastes have changed since. No front splitters or styling, this time. Just got it sitting low, looking clean and going like a scalded cat.

Good to hear other people are tinkering with Metros!

Has anyone got a rolling road figure out of theirs?

Would be interested to see what the most power a road legal Metro Turbo (retaining a-series engine) has ever achieved...

i used to hate metros, but now im actually quite fond of them.

saying that, i had to drive this shed back to mine before i broke it, probably the most embarassing motoring experience of my life, was a homemade cabriolet and my god it was shit!

"Turbo's make torque, and torque makes fun"

"did you know you can toast potato waffles?"

yes, true, but i bet a bunch of lads hadnt pissed in the back of your girlfriends metro!!

they are good value though.

*edit*

the above metro came with 1380, s/c box, alloy calipers and lots of other goodies, i ended up swapping it for a completely shagged out drum kit that hospice wouldnt take! LOL

All I can say is yuck! I'd have worn a brown bag with eye-holes in it whilst driving that!

So has anyone got a rolling road figure from a Metro Turbo?
