Well times running out now. how much work you lot got left to do to make it to Avon?

I've got the week before off work and in that time i'm pulling the engine out, replacing a few leaky gaskets so they'll let me run. New clutch plate. few bits of welding. make my seats lock down properly. then i've got to rebuild my carb and go get it rolling roaded.....should be fun.

i've got to finish all the install off and get it rolling roaded! hmm when shall i run it in.... nah give that a miss!

frog probably wont be there. :/

when and where you having the RR jim? emerald? i need to get mine booked in as well somewhere!!

I'm booked it at emerald the Thursday before avon.

Mine is already on the trailer and full of fuel, so scratching my arse is the most I have to do.

However, the ongoing development of this car means that we have to modify the rear subframe to allow us to get some toe-in, and we're changing the fuel tank back to the old one.

I lapped in 2 of the 8 valves last night...

so to finish my engine I just need to fit the head, transfer casing and flywheel/cluth.

Then engine in car and run it in :S

Sounds easy - till you take out the week and a bit I am away in germany on work :(

my car is still running the 1100 engine atm... while the new engine is waiting in the kitchen for its cylinder head to arrive from morspeed...

before it can go in, i need to fit a bulkhead box, and create a new loom too.....

well i've spent all afternoon out in the sun wiring the ecu.

think its ready to rock and roll, although just for first fire as i havent made a TPS adaptor or and temp sensors.

all wired in and in place though so it should be straight forward...

i had another rolling road and all seems ok, so fingers crossed for 2 weeks, but the poor old girl has been getting a real hard time of things of late so who knows!

I have got to paint the front end and doors, Pass mot, shouldnt be a problem as its freshly built, run-in, setup, setup suspension, sort any niggly problems. but hopin too have it sorted i too have the week off before avon!!!!!!
