i think a link pipe from an injection manifold might work well..

No way, this is my idea !

I bought one for the deerest sum of 3 pounds !

This is for my SBU thought so diameters will be way smaller ...

Longy,
Do you know if your solidworks head can be used in Catia (as a dead solid or the like) ?
(we happen to use that at work)
Would you be kind enough to let me use your hard work ?

I bet my first wank came quicker than your first mini turbo

These new modern turbos with their quick spool up time, would make the competition harder.

Ive never used Catia, but i can save the file as an igs file and you should be able to open it in Catia. i really need to get a copy of catia seems like all the F1 teams use it.

if the turbo's high enough you can stick it into the transfer case, if not the next obivous point is as you say the dizzy hole.

I understood you use a 1275 so you have a nice big breather a few inches down your turbo !

I, on the opposite, have a 998 so no breather here so it's either the distributor or the mechanical pump hole ...

I am not working for a F1 team ...
Well, for Renault but definitely not in F1 department ...

I will gladly take the igs file to give it a try.

PM me anytime it's done and we'll sort this out

Mike the bracket holding the turbo is great, does it clear the subframe ok?

Yep, clears easy. Thought it would help stop the manifold cracking by supporting some of the weight.

Any progress on this?

Just thinking of different ways of doing it.

Saul Bellow - "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."
Stephen Hawking - "The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance, it is the illusion of knowledge."

Sadly no, the still really fancy doing it, but space time is short and money is even shorter lol. ive picked up a couple of new methods on modeling the pipes, so going to redo the model.

I think that this is very close to the best method:

Just a couple of update pics. ive used a collector to merge the tubes into the turbo flange, but i run both pipes separately into the it.

This is my favorite so far, purely on a visual basis. As far as tuning the primary lengths it still needs work. Ive tried to keep it simple only using tube that can be brought of the shelf

Note that the welding is much neater in CAD than in real life *happy*

Looks really good work, If you can let me have a copy of the file in an STL /IGES format I may be able to put it into the ALM machine here and make a scale model of it?
