Yup, as much as I don't like him winning all the time he seems like a nice lad so doesn't really deserve that.

I turned it back on when schumi was in 2nd, would have been great to see him on the podium again.

Yeah i went on Tuesday. It was a great film, great to see some classic footage on the big screen. It focussed quite a bit on him and Prost though, that would be my only criticism. There was some great drives and other aspects that i think they missed and should have included.
This aside though, i did enjoy it, good film. The Donnelly/Ratzenburger/Imola footage was quite hard to watch though.

True, me too - love watching the old footage ion YT and reading about the cars - the JPS Lotus being put on the dyno to find the peak power, and them winding up to around 5.5 bar boost and not being able to find peak power as the dyno could 'only' establish power figures to 1500hp...
Engines lasting 1 race if they were lucky.....!

Sad thing is though that in 2014 the cars & engines will be so fiercly regulated that the old 'balls out', 'anything goes', 1500hp times will definitely not be repeated!
Power will be limited to 750hp like now, rev limit will be 12000 rpm iirc, and obviously the engines will have to last a certain amount of races.....!

Bring back the old days i say.....

The boring bloke who runs this place.

Berkshire

Only downsides are:

* Forced engine regs (i.e. in the old days we had NA vs Turbo)
* Power limit (instead of just fuel limit)

Apart from that, more torque = more 'real' overtaking, and more reliability issues, so should make things interesting :)

So what do we all think about this Indian grand prix track?

The middle sector looks very hard..... Fun but very hard

I like it, looks like a good track. It doesn't seem long ago when they had a preview of it and there was nothing there at all! Must've cost a few bob.

I think Massa probably hates it. He can complain all he wants about the curbs, but only he knocked a wheel off on both sides of his car from a field of 24.

As Brundle said, it was an ok GP, but not a classic. If they sort the dust, it could be a winner.
