Not in the end mate, but you can put a spade connector accross the 2 right pins ( I think its them 2 anyway from memory) and that seems to work. Ian_W has got his wired like that and works fine. *oh well*

i can confirm these 40A ones are up to the job. *happy*
been using one since about april with no problems atall (although i dont run much electrical equpment off it ie no big sound system or anything).

someone said its like ony 22A but the least powerful standard replacement ones ive found are like 45A so who knows..
I dont think theyll be powerful enough for mine, proposed leccy fan and waterpump and hifi already..

Standard non MPI alts are 32amp as far as I know

40 amps seems to be coping with all my injection paraphanalia, lecy water pump, 80/100w headlamps and 100w of spotlamps with no troubles.
