i'm also very tempted in them rims in the future (probably distant future), what width did you go for?

I went for the 7", a bit too wide for road tyres, but slicks will look great on them

got back thismorning, been trying to do some today but my water cooling pipe still doesnt fit, what did you use to for the fixing for the one that runs the side of the engine block?

back to london tomorrow then back fri night, so it wont happen unfortuately, poo

Endaf made my fuel tank tonight, ,I stuck in the side windows, and sorted out my water pipes. I checked the ecu with my laptop, and it can see all sensors, mounted the boot lid too. See you all Friday night or early Saterday morning at Avon!

I have just had a look at this I was wondering what brake calipers they are in the early pictures as they look the same as mine. I got mine cheap so dont know what make they are?

Ive heard a layshaft bearing can be used

The calipers are minispares alloy 4pots. Theyre the old style cast ones, and lighter than the current billet ones

I belive the mini column was still retained, and it was run in idle gear bearings,

and nics right, they are the early minispares 4 pots

I've been looking at how you did your steering column, would I be right in thinking that the mount is simply a piece of roll cage tubing? If so what bearing did you use and what did you do for the steering column it's self? was it just a bit of 1" round stock?

After a wee drive in Jim's car, i found the seating postion and steering wheel set up so nicely placed, it was a really nice place to be (apart from the noise, sorry mate getting old and am used to me carpets ) It made me think about doing some thing with my steering, as my arms weren't straight out like on a normal car.
