You're taking the stereo gear out of your mini???

I did some more work yesterday, took me bloody ages to make the brace bars for the front subframe, I also welded mounts to them for intercooler and oil cooler. I made new rad top bracket, and bracket for auxilary rad (old oil cooler)

Its difficult to make hoses and cables look neat though, especially when there is so much going on in such a small space......

looking good jim, WHats the thin blue hose in the last picture running under the side mounted rad?.

If you make any more brace bars like that put me down for a pair :) they look top draw

that is the cable going to my crank sensor, it's just in a blue protective heat sleave

jim i can see a possitive input from a fabricator on those brace bars , a proper job ,god forbid you would fit that shite from the MSC,

I'll take that as a compliment carl, Endaf adviced me what todo, but I did 100% of the work myself. I am getting better, but I have learned shitloads! still not as good as these titanium tie bars I got in the post today (thanks carl there awesome)



I'll get some rose joints put onto these and put on car this weekend

true, but when i look at my car i see everything that could improved, when i look at yours or anyone elses i see it for the greatness, i would imagine its the same for everyone

I find that looking at all these pics gives me something to aim for!! Having done the car basically when it first went on the road (insurance only prohibited engine mods) i done the suspension etc. fairly well to start with, but seeing things like titanium tie rods gives me the idea i got miles left to do!!!!

Just another query, wot is the car that the mini shares the workshop with? Is it some kind of national hot rod/ oval racer???

antman, there are a few other cars in there, two miglias, the rest a few autograss cars and Rally cars, and some road cars too

I got some more work done on the weekend, fitted my new shocks, and tie bars, and connected the rest of the "strings" up in order to get the engine running. At first looks it looks like my cooling problems have now gone since I changed my rad and fitted an electric water pump.
My Roof needs a wash!

I just fitted cheapy Avo's on the back, as I'm fitting and Anti-roll bar (and I'm skint)
