do we need helmets this year? didn't need em last year unless you were going quite quick.

just got my battery clamp to re-make and bolt my seats down properly.

oh and the small matter of valve guides to be done on thursday

i'm fairly certain you only need a helmet if your terminal is over 100. So only applicable to a select few on here.

I would have thought that most class D cars would get over 100 terminal wouldn't they?

well its in one piece, some bits a bit lashed up still but it will be ok.

on the rollers (again!) tomorrow. hopefully all the gremlins that appeared have gone into hiding.

Made that decision yesterday, got a few bits to do on the car but mainly I have to build the trailer back up now its come back from galvanizing. Should only take 2 hours or so but its lashing with rain at the moment

Mine is all lashed together again. Test drive will be on the way to Avon.

Still got some hoses to fit and some Mj adjustments to make, but that can wait till im there with a beer in my hand. :)

bolted the head back on last night with all new guides in, just gonna go fire it up now and see if it works. just a few bits and bobs left to do then. :)

Trailer finished, although can't find the winch.
NOS micro switch fitted to carb and working well.
Going to wait till 10 oclock tommorrow to make a decision on wether to leave and get a couple of Saturday runs in or leave later for the overnight camp.

Yes, i'll run in class H.
Supercharger only runs between 9-10 psi boost but I know with NOS I can run well over 200bhp and over 200 ftlbs torque

i have a feeling i wont be there tomorrow rain or not. i think my head gasket is fucked. I've driven it about a mile so far and it keeps dropping onto 3 cylinders, lots of pressure and bubbling in the header tank before the needles even come off the bottom, stat housing is red hot too.
