Thats definatly one to ponder on. I have a spare rocker cover somewhere, will braise another outlet onto it and remove the filters then take it to a catch tank. I hope thats all it is. Cant be dealing with another major failure this year, have been so maticulus with this one too.
Cheers

I'd think of copying the Miglia setup, large bore 1" breather from transfer gear housing up to rocker box, then another one off this to a catch tank. The DON has a 1" bore pipe off the block (from old dizzy hole) plus a large bore (3/4" I think) one off the transfer gear hsg.

I'm suffering the same problem on the 998.

I originally planned to use the tappet chest cover breather and the dizzy hole.

But having to use a cam sensor in the dizzy hole has left me with a single breather.

As expected I'm dripping oil after a hard run.

I need to add some pipes to a rocker cover before the weekend.

Mine started smoking like that a couple of years ago.

I cut off the top of the breather on the transfer housing
Put a breather on the rocker box
And left the timing chain one as per std and it has been fine since

I have found an old rocker cover to experiment with for my extra breathers, Ive fitted two additional Half inch I/D takeoffs to the fron of the rocker cover which will go to a "catch tank" will run the std two to it also. Its not pretty but Im hoping it will work, going to try it tom eve after work, this will be the decider weather the mini makes it to avon, failing that its ANOTHER show in the bimmer, joy!
Fingers crossed
