Flan stayed at mine, you lads are all forgetting he is a seasoned drinker, although after an early start Thursday morning I think he was just knackered, he managed to drop off to sleep in the cab on the 5 min ride home, although woke up a bit when the dog licked his face...

Next time either Akbars, OR we could go into Sheffield, some decent bars in Leopold Square, then the Aagrah.

Speaking from a great deal of experience on curry places in Sheffield here are a few recommendations: Some mentioned already

Akbars. Good food, sells beer. Bit in the middle of nowhere so getting to a pub after is a pain, unless the locals know a good one.
Aaaaaargh in Leopold Sq is great but not that cheap. Worth it if you can run to paying probably 30-50% more for food than a standard place. Bit more restaurant than curry house.
Chaman on the Wicker has amazing food, but it's BYOB. They have a separate back room upstairs that can hold 10-12 at a push too. Prices are very good too.
Gulshan also on the Wicker is also great and BYOB. Bit smaller.. and may not be as accommodating to rowdy pissed people.
Mangla on Spital Hill is always good. BYOB again and the pub across the road does carry outs, or it did last time I went anyway. They may have knocked it down now, not sure. Food is similar to the other BYOB places, much better than normal places catering to the average lager lout in town centres.
Best of the rest in the centre is probably Shapla at the bottom of the Moor.

Avoid the ones on West St. They very much cater to pissheads and are as authentic as a £9 note.
