The cage is definitely OTT, but I'm working on the theory that if I have to carry the several kg of cage I might as well add a few more bars and make it work for me.

I decided to have another ply with the front end this afternoon still got a load of work to do but it's starting to look like a Mini again.

They're 6x10 GB and are only being used for mock up, along with the air suspension, here's one of the sets of wheels which I'll be running:

I'm toying over tying the rear strut brace to the bulkhead with a large gusset, to help stiffen up the back, what you you guys reckon?

I wold have thought with the bars going through the bulkhead being welded there, and the cross brace going between the arches you should be nice and stiff on the ass end. |
