Just got back, It was a wet weekend and I am soaked, but race day was fine and a great race!!. Pime position on turn 10 ( the one they were all whinging about!) and yes it was pretty chewed up at the end of the race but that, and the lack of traction control made for some interesting times. Must say Piquet was crap.. he screwed up that corner more often than not. And Hamilton looked fast but nearly always locked up the front right.



The seats, we have been further left than this a little nearer but you cannot see the exit of the corner where the passing can happen so we liked this better. you can see them full tilt arriving and all the way round the corner and away..



J.B. On his single qualifying lap just prior to his gearbox blowing we heard the PAARRRPPP of the rev limiter as it went!




I flew the flags, In my defence my Wife is a Jock, therefore my kids are half Jocks and DC comes from the right Island!!

II enjoyed the Icecream...

And the food in Montreal was wonderful..

What a f***in' joke, he passed first. You can't help but think everyone's anti-McLaren or anti-Lewis :(.

As the commentator said you know if McLaren are under investigation they'll be found guilty.

He'll probably get penalised for hitting Alonso as well.

I think it was a justified penality. Overtaking then going completely off the track.

I'm definitely still going, we probably can't go next year and if Bernie gets his way there won't be anymore after that.

I recon that had Truly been driving a McLaren he would have been penalised for driving into Kovi...

i'm glad that i wasn't the only one to notice that. My old man said it was more attached than that. It made a fair old mess of the bodywork and airbox as well!

The cynic in me says if it was a Mclaren with an exhaust hanging off the car would have been orange & black flagged.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

I ended up turning over and watching the MotoGP, but that werent much better... James Toseland came off on the first corner..
werent all bad news Scott Redding won the 125s.

Being hopeful...can't stand Mclaren I'm afraid.

Saw it on the telly, sat in the warm with a mug of tea. Really good race from a spectators point of view, alot of action, and good to see Rubens on the podium again, he seemed really happy with the result.

EDIT: Real shame about DC mind not how you want to finish your career.

I agree. RB was the man of the race, top result! Good to see the RB & Ross back on form.

great race, RB was awesome but i think most of the credit for that position has to go to Ross, a great decision to go onto extremes just a shame that the feuling rig screwed up!!
