sad thing is i can understand exactly what is message reads, all the experience of chavs allow me to translate !

Pardon me old chap, i could not agree more, as most of those traffic police constables are shphincter muscles....if you are adolescent and have a modified mini (or shithouse nova) then it would appear that the constable will pull you over in order to give you a stern talking too.......of course unless you drive like a total wanksplash ? i have been pulled over too many times to mention and 90% of the time the kind police constable has been a fuckwit whether or not this has been a leagal act one could not comment. but as iam getting older i look less like a rat boy chav, i even have a propper moustache now ! and by the time iam 28 - 30 years of age it should subside one would hope.

Ive had mixs of them! Good n bad!
but the best was at 12pm on my 21st birthday!
we had a party and so i took my girlfriend home! see i dont really drink! I had the one at the start of the night wen everyone said cheers!

but i was almost at my girlfriends when two traffic cars came storming up behind me and pulled me, one to my side blocking the road and the other behind! i caked it!

he got out and came to the window and started talking to me asking what i was doing!
he then said could i move it into the street along side us, which i was alittle puzzled him asking me that, so i said u mean henson grove and he said yes!
so i started the car and pulled away slowly, he put his arm through the window took the keys and started to shout at me sayin i was attempting to leave the scene!
i do forensics at uni and so we cover abit of law and traffic laws seem to pop up alot, so i argued the point that he replyed yes to me moving into henson grove. he replied are you getting cocky and told me to get out and get into his car!
he then asked my details!
bear in mind i was 21 at 12pm and driving a 3.2 v6 merc! (mummys :) )
so i told him, and then he asked my date of birth which puzzled him! and he said your 21 today have you been drinking? i said no sir i dont believe in drinking as my church bans it! can i ask you why youve pulled me over? he never answered and started to talk on his radio, so i asked him for his uniform no, as i was making a complaint upon him.
he let me go with no producer, no breatherliser, nothing, the next day i made a complaint with them (my dad mate :) )!

another time ive had a brake light out and a copper stopped me, he found one in our boot kit and changed it for me! i wasnt gonna stop him! so there not all bad!

My mate, Will, had a similar problem one night:

Driving at 4am having been round a mate's house. He's about 23 and drives a Golf GTI. Blues lights and a siren.

He pulls to the side of the road.
Cop: "What are you doing out at this time of the morning?"
Will: "I've come back from a mates"
Cop: "Been drinking?"
Will: "No I'm a tea-totaller"
Cop: "Don't lie to me"
Will: "I'm not, smell" (been eating cheese & onion crisps, lol)
Cop: "OK"
He goes to inpect Will's car
Cop: "Why have you got multi-coloured bulbs? They're illegal"
Will: "They're not, they're all-weather bulbs. They shine white"
Cop: "Your tracking's out"
Will: "No I've got negative camber"
Cop: "You've got no interior"
Will: "So....last time I checked that's not illegal"
Will goes over to cop's car, as cop tries to find something wrong.
Will: "You've got a bald tyre"
Cop: "No I haven't"
Will: "Yes you have, it's on the inside. Your tracking's out. And one of your tail-lights are out"
Cop: "Er....on your way"
Will: "Hang on, I'm noting down your squad car number"

The moral of the story - remember that you have the legal right to inpesct a copper's car and that many of them would fail if they got pulled over by VOSA.

my advice would be dont do what happens in twicemonkeys tale. or u end up sat in custody for being a cocky scroat. the police vehicles do get battered about, and yes occasionally a light may go off, but as they are inspected every day and serviced once a week on a sunday morning (fluid levels, tyres body damage n lights) i would tend to say that part of the story told is BS IHMO....... its a case of "do as they say not as they do" and you will never go wrong. but act like a tool and you end up getting their backs up, they WILL find summit wrong with the car it is super easy trust me, and they WILL summons you to court, and you WILL get a nasty fine, and they WILL have your vehicle logged.

polite and courteus at all times, be defensive but polite with it, if you dont agree tell them but explain yourself.....any decent human would respect this dudes.

i have been there myself, i got ripped out of the driving seat of my mini (red one in me sig) I was driving down the road nd i saw the volvo turn around behind me to follow, i thought nothing of it, and i cut through the estate to get to my usual destination, the lad in the volvo didnt know this route and took the long way. he eventually stopped me coming out of my wifes street (we had just started going out) along with 4 other volvos...he had shouted up on radio that i had made off ! I remained calm and let him do his checks. once finished i picked up all the buttons off the floor that he had ripped off my shirt and calmly said "now that you have probably realised you were out of order, i would like you to appologise for assaulting me and ripping my shirt in front of your colleagues. which he did, they were all shaking their heads at him (bad egg in a bunch of gooduns)

I've been really lucky when I've been pulled over (Probably due to the fact i'm always polite ect) and even been let off and thought after i would have nicked me!!

on the odd ocasion i have had greif its been young coppers, or asshole's on a powertrip, or specials (they always seem to be arses in my experience)

Normally even if you do get a compete penis just being nice takes the wind out of their sails, and then theyre ok,

Sad fact of life is you get cnut's in every job....

my brother gets stopped weekly in his mini...
the last week was...policeman asks what the items were on his back seat....an oil cooler hose and a steering lock...

they asked if his overriders were insured before...its a '69

theres a different story all the time

it seem that people who know fk all about anything chose to become policemen....

Just got one to add myself from tonight.

Pulled up in the local tescos bough 11pm (bordem dont ask) and my alternator is knackered and like a tool i forgot to turn the lights off - instant flat battery.

Luckly i had 2 m8 with me and we managed to jump it off - just as the police pulled into the car park for there midnight muchie supplys (there constantly in my local tescos around that time of night).

The car came across and a lovely cop woman (i mean lovely in more than one way - she was bluddy amazing) asked if everything was ok - i said "yep the alternators knacered and ive left my lights on so run the battery flat hence the running" she laughed and said "so you have hot wired it then" - more laughing and she no problem lads see you later - bearing in mind i had a headlight out - no brake lights (the fuse had gone tonite i didnt know) and a blowing exhaust and illegal numberplates it could have been worse.

So there not all bad - but you are right about alot of traffic cops - they are stuck up arses.

yeah it was the cleveland force m8 - lol - i know where you are coming from there the coppers round my way are usually crap.

luckly ive sorted all the stuff now - just need to go and get some more fuses - no more worrying!

yeh i noticed with hardened susp that i went through fuses due to the extra vibrations shaking em to death bulk buy 12" nails and cut em down n use em coz that is a safe thing to do :) (disclaimer:- this is sarcasm)

lol yeah - well the guy at the local car suppply shop hasnt got many in as he doesnt stock them anymore - think im just going to offer him some cash for the ones hes got left so at least i have a few spares! im just hoping i have sorted the blowing fuse issue as its doing my head in.

think that mini spares do a newer style blade fuse box rather than the old glass ones that the minis have direct replacement and they dont cost much either dude :) i would move the whole lot out of the engine bay where there is less damp and extreme heat

thanks for that my first turbo - dont particularly want to have to re-wire to a 24 fuse box - do they do a spade four block connector as id sooner keep it the same way or if not does anyone know of any company that does them.
