put a nicotine patch on the head just under the thermostat housing. that should cure the smoking.

Well ive done the stem seals and put in some wynns stop smoke for now, and oil burning is still happening but the stop smoke has cured it quite a bit. I have to use the car everyday to get to work theres no public transport until i get back to uni, and then ill be putting the turbo engine in. Wyns 'stop smoke' is VERY effective for around 200-600 miles. If it starts smoking again, you know it's the bores. On 17th Nov, 2014 Tom Fenton said:

well its working very well, its not used a drop of oil since putting it in!! smokes a little bit when cold, but only for about a minuet idling, then its ok!

Just make sure you nurse the engine... If you work it hard, it'll soon start smoking.
