My old car had a habit of cracking the centre web ( later 3 bolt type )
i thought the later A+ boxes were the 2 bolt type because rover noticed the problem on the metty turbos and stopped putting the extra bolt in? from what i remember them saying on the mini builder dvd.. not sure how accurate my memory is though. |

Rover musnt have know too much, as they fitted crap bearings to the boxes.

All I recall, is theat the crap bearings had 10 balls, and the good ones 11....
