here are a couple more worn parts for you to look at.
The bearing isn't to many miles old, and it's the double roller one.
look the gap from the bearing to the case, there was a few mm of side ways play in the shaft, and the day before i took the engine out the car made 211 bhp on the rollers! (scary it would have made a mess!) and look at the crud on the oil plug!

sweet jesus... never seen roller bearings fail like that.. can only guess that they got contaminated with swarf from other metal grinding things...

I tell you what mate, you might be on to some thing, if i don't look at my gear box or engine, then i won't see the wear and it might not even be there as i just won't see it LOL

pics of my 2 diffs and 1 box coming soon. my sump plud was literally 2 inches longer due to teeth off the diff and box!!!!!
will try my best to get a brand new 4 pin diff as well 4 ya'll cos i am buyin 1 this week, and am gonna try nail it the first outing!!! will test the b*stard!!! lol

worked it out at 0.00000002589/1 c/r which should be good for loads of boost.

When using a Minisport engine conversion (was done by them, althogh not whilst I owned the vehicle) make sure they use the right flywheel locktab and do actually knock it out!

Was overtaking a truck when it felt like the clutch was slipping.. so I stopped rather quickly and then waited to be towed home.

The bolt welded itself into the end of the crank.... now think about it, if thel flywheel is loose, but the bolt is stuck, how do you get it out?
