hi sorry for the late replies everywhere!!! been so busy getting it finished. Ended up trying a stud extractor, which snapped before the stud came out.

I had to drill it out in the end and got someone to help me put some new threads in it. spent hours trying to get that stud out!! thanks for all your help!
